DITSL on the WItzenhausen Steintraße Campus

Witzenhausen Germany is the ‘Ökologische Haupstadt’ (Capitol of Organic) at the Biofach in Nürmberg, at Terra Madre in Torino and with IFOAM in Bonn I meet our graduates everywhere. Here on the Steinstraße campus in Witzenhausen we have the extreme luck to have DITSL a world renowned training and research center for organic agriculture.

During the spring break I am in an intensive course here at DITSL on the quality management and marketing of international organic products. The course has 25 attendees most of them from developing organic sectors in Eastern Europe (Kosovo, Serbia, Albania). 6 of the attendees are fellow students from the Masters Programs (SIA and IFBC).

The program is very strong and professional quality, with good lecturers who are directors and researchers from the professional world. The course is aimed directly at people who will be working in policy making and market development. We are visiting all members of the value chain for organic products and learning more in these three weeks than we might normally in a whole semester of classes.

The course has a huge demand and will start to accept applicants in the summer. Stay tuned and get in touch with DITSL in June or July at the latest if you want to attend.
